General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale concern e-ticketing sales only.

Any request by the customer to modify the sales conditions is likely to lead to a change of tariff.

All orders placed with the Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire using the Open Billet system implies unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

ARTICLE 1 – PRICE

1.1 Price of the e-ticket

The price of tickets (face value) is indicated on the ticket in euros, inclusive of taxes.

Prices may be changed at any time by the Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire. However, tickets are invoiced on the basis of tariffs in application at the time the order is registered.

1.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from the interpretation or performance of our agreements shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Orléans Commercial Court (France), even if it is stated otherwise on our customers’ letters or invoices, even in the event of the introduction of third parties or multiple defendants. In all events, only French law shall be applicable.

ARTICLE 2 – NUMBER OF PLACES

The total number of places booked cannot be greater than the number set by the Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire, which will be indicated where appropriate for each visit.

ARTICLE 3 – AVAILABILITY

Customers are informed in real-time of the availability of the required places at the time of placing their order.

ARTICLE 4 – PAYMENT

All orders, regardless of their place of issue, are payable in euros.

For bookings, payments must be made on-line via a bank card. (For all other payments, contact the Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire, which will inform you of the pre-requisites).

The customer’s bank account will be debited of the amount of the order as soon as the transaction has been confirmed.

ARTICLE 5 – BOOKING

This service is for private individuals. If booking for groups or for customers who benefit from a reduced rate, contact the Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire on +33 (0)2 38 44 32 28.

ARTICLE 6 – REFUNDS

At the time of booking, the ticket is validated and cannot be modified, exchanged or refunded.

If the event is cancelled, only the price of the ticket will be refunded, which excludes transport, hotel, administration, dispatch fees, etc.

The refund will be made by bank transfer or via cheque.

If an activity is postponed, the tickets shall remain valid for the new date; if the new date is not suitable, the tickets may be refunded under the same conditions as a cancellation.

ARTICLE 7– SECURITY OF PAYMENTS

If booking on-line, the confirmed order with the Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire must be paid in full at the time of the order and in euros. Payment takes place on the Pay Fip secure payment platform.

ARTICLE 8 – LIABILITY

The Office de Tourisme des Terres du Val de Loire shall not be held responsible for non-fulfilment of the contract agreed in the event of force majeure or fortuitous event, in particular the full or partial disturbance or strike, notably of the postal services and any other form of transport or communication or due to an unforeseeable or insurmountable third party, or in the event of a fault by the user, in particular errors in entering their contact details or any other incomplete or incorrect information sent by the user via this website.

ARTICLE 9 – VALIDATION OF THE ORDER – ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Before confirming their order, the customer agrees to these general Terms and Conditions of Sale in full and without reserve.

ARTICLE 10 – TICKETS

As soon as the purchase is confirmed, the customer must either print their ticket or present it in the form or an image on a smartphone.

By accepting these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the customer also accepts the conditions of use of e-tickets.

An e-ticket requires access to a printer in order to print the ticket on white A4 paper. The customer can print their ticket in black and white or in colour.

ARTICLE 11 – TICKET INSPECTION

11.1 Ticket inspection

Tickets will be inspected on-site. Tickets are single-use only.

11.2 Identity check

The organiser reserves the right to check the customer’s identity at the entrance of the place of the visit. The customer must therefore have official and valid photo ID: ID card, passport, driving licence or residence permit.
